National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics Requirement

The Code of Ethics is a 2.5-hour mandated course by the National Association of REALTORS on 3-year cycles. We are currently in "Cycle 7", a 3-year cycle (January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2024). Failure to complete this requirement is a violation of your membership, and your REALTOR membership will be suspended until the requirement is completed. However, all new agents have 60 days to complete the course upon joining RGA.
(Please note:  While instructors and schools do report CE credits directly to the Georgia Real Estate Commission, they do not report NAR's COE requirement for attendees. Due to many members holding memberships at different Associations, it is difficult to determine which Association should receive your attendance record).

RGA members: We host 3-4 Code of Ethics classes annually. Please look at the association calendar for the next scheduled class. If you prefer an online option, you can take the class for free at any time through NAR, here. Additionally, by completing NAR's C2EX (Commitment to Excellence) program, and getting endorsed, you will satisfy this Code of Ethics requirement. However, please note, the online NAR course and the C2EX program do not offer any CE hours as in-person classes typically do.

If you have any questions regarding this requirement, please contact the RGA office. If you are unable to locate a completion certification and the class was for Georgia Continuing Education Credit, then you can log into your account here to access the information. At this point, you can either print to a PDF or save as a screenshot. Please include the course title, date of completion, your full name and license number.
